Reservation and deposit: If you should decide to book our Florida home please fill in the Booking Form and return it to the stated address together with a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week. Bookings are to be a minimum of 7 nights.
Security deposit: A refundable security deposit of £100 (against loss, damage, or excessive electricity/gas usage) will be required and should be paid with the balance of the rental. This will be returned to you on completion of a satisfactory inspection after your holiday. During occupancy you will be expected to assume all reasonable responsibility for the safety and security of the property, and must treat the property, it's furniture, fixtures, fittings, utensils and other facilities in a manner that on departure they remain in good condition. Any damage or loss must be reported to the management company as soon as possible.
Balance of payments: The balance is due eight weeks before departure date. Bookings made within two months of departure require full payment upon booking.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING IF THE BALANCE IS NOT PAID AROUND THE DUE DATE AND CANCELLATION CHARGES WILL THEN APPLY.
Booking conditions: The condition and booking form shall form the Contract between the owners and the person deemed to be signing for those names that appear on the booking form. A Contract will only exist when a fully completed and signed booking form with deposit/full payment is received.
Cancellation charges: We must be notified in writing as soon as possible (by the person named on the booking form) in the event of a cancellation. Should you cancel your booking the following charges will apply:
More than two calendar months before departure...Deposit forfeited
Between one & two calendar months before departure...50% of total cost forfeited
Less than 28 days before departure...100% of total cost forfeited
However should we be able to re-let the property on similar terms the deposit only will be forfeited. (You are strongly advised to take out adequate insurances to cover both cancellation due to accident/illness and possible damage to the property/fixtures and fittings.)
Change or cancellation by the Owners: Whenever possible all changes will be advised without delay. Should circumstances, beyond the control of the Owners require them to cancel a booking, they will wherever possible offer alternative arrangements. Should these prove unacceptable and once instructions have been received by the Client in writing, the Client will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
Force Majeur: The owners or owners agents accept no responsibility whatsoever and no compensation or any other payments will be made if any cancellation or change to the terms of the booking become necessary due to war, threat of war, riots, civil commotion, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, nautical and nuclear disasters, fire, flood, technical problems with transportation or any other events beyond their control.
Liability: During your stay the owners or owners agents do not accept any liability whatsoever for personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to person or personal effects however caused. As the property has a private swimming pool the owners or owners agents do not accept ANY responsibility or liability for personal injury however caused as a result of the pool. It is the responsibility of an adult to ensure that children are supervised at all times in and around the pool. For their own safety children should not swim.
Occupancy: Occupancy commences from 4pm USA local time on the day of arrival, vacating by 11am on the day of departure. (These times must be strictly adhered to so the villa can be cleaned and ready for the next guests.)
Insurances, passports and visas: It is the individual's responsibility to take out the appropriate insurances to cover all aspects of the holiday and to ensure that passports, travel documents and visas are all in order.
(NOTE: To enter the USA your passport should be valid for at least 6 months)
